Computer Aid, Inc. is looking for a Senior Level Trainer Web Application with 5-7 years of experience!   Duration 24 months.
This position comes to us from our NY State contract for Hourly Based Information Technology Services and is located in Albany, NY.  Albany is in the beautiful upstate region of NY, which is only a few hours from Boston, New York City, Montreal, and the spectacular mountains of the Adirondacks.

Position Requirements/Technical Skills:



Project Scope- duties of position




Automated Time and Attendance is a web application maintaining employee schedules, accruals, time-sheets and payroll exception information.


Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Train OMH facility personnel staff on Time and Attendance web application slated for implementation at 14 Psychiatric Centers in the next several months.
  • Develop and execute test plans for all code changes and builds while ensuring NYS Time and Attendance regulations are considered.
  • Use TOAD to create SQL queries for Ad-Hoc reporting and to investigate and trouble shoot issues.
  • Create and maintain all documentation, including user guides, technical documentation, on-line help text and defect recording using ADOBE professional, MS Word and MS Publisher.
  • Respond to HP Service Center Help Desk calls assigned to HR group.



Senior Level 

You must be a Senior Trainer Web Application with documented employment experience of 5-7 years (60-84 months).


–  You must have experience in the usage and support of a collection of development platforms, technical architectures, or business applications and products that run on those platforms, beyond that of a Programmer.

The Authorized User may seek Specialists in the following areas (list is not exhaustive):  Backup and Recovery, Security.



PART B:   Requested Desirable  Qualifications:  The numbered qualifications below are not mandatory, but candidates should meet or exceed in duration and skill set target asked for, at least 4 of numbers 1 through 8.

  1. 72 months Experience as a trainer of web-based computer applications.
  2. 72 months Experience using MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access) MS Publisher,and Adobe Professional.
  3. 36 months Demonstrates the ability to work with complex data and analysis such as the interpretation and application of the Attendance Rules for Employees in New York State Departments and Institutions.
  4. 72 months Experience providing level 2 technical support in an enterprise environment serving at least 500 users.
  5. 24 months Experience working with HIPAA requirements.
  6. 36 months Experience working with Oracle 10G/11i.
  7. 36 months Experience working with Enterprise Incident Management.
  8. Bachelor’s Degree
