Computer Aid, Inc. is looking for a Senior Level Mobile App Developer with 5-7 years of experience!   Duration 24 months.
This position comes to us from our NY State contract for Hourly Based Information Technology Services and is located in Albany, NY.  Albany is in the beautiful upstate region of NY, which is only a few hours from Boston, New York City, Montreal, and the spectacular mountains of the Adirondacks.

Position Requirements/Technical Skills:

 

Project Scope- duties of position

 

As a member of the User Services Unit, the “Orchestrator Mobile App Developer” will be primarily responsible for the daily management & support of the Orchestrator Run Book and Management servers, cross training of existing IT staff, policy & procedure development associated with security & data protection.

 

 

Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Design and produce native mobile apps.
  • Develop database-driven applications.
  • Ensure cross-platform usability across smartphones, tablets, and other mobile devices.
  • Use external APIs to generate quality applications.
  • Apply Objective-C skills and inside-and-out knowledge of the iOS SDK.
  • Apply integration software applications with remote web services such as REST/HTTP.
  • Daily use of organizational and project management skills.
  • Define and launch mobile apps.
  • Design and use mobile UX, coding and support/maintenance, collaboration and communication skills.
  • Use Java, the Android framework, the iOS framework, Windows phone development, and hybrid app development.
  • Use JSON, XML, APIs and other web services.
  • Create/modify server side scripts.
  • Create SQL tables and stored procedures.
  • Create VB.NET sites to be deployed on IIS 7.0 (Windows Server 2008).
  • Create VB.NET sites to be deployed on IIS 8.0 (Windows Server 2012).
  • Use Active Directory monitoring, attribute creation/deletion with both MMC and LDAP connections.
  • Design, code and test web-based applications.
  • Perform analyses and assessments to determine systems methodology best suited to serve ITS.
  • Communicate and collaborate with technical and non-technical personnel to understand and define user needs.

PART A

:  The ONE MANDATORY REQUIREMENT:

 

Senior Level

You must be a Senior Mobile App Developer with documented employment experience of 5-7 years (60-84 months).

  

–  You must have experience with analysis, design, coding, component and assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team.  Maintenance (including production support), enhancement and development work.  Write application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, design, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, and software conversions.

 

– You must be able to work without assistance and can provide leadership for others; may have advanced education.

 

 

PART B:   Requested Desirable  Qualifications:  The numbered qualifications below are not mandatory, but candidates should meet or exceed in duration and skill set target asked for, at least 4 of numbers 1 through 8.

  1. At least 60 months experience creating/modifying server side scripts, SQL tables and reporting and VB.NET sites deployed on Windows Server 2008 and 2012.
  2. At least 60 months experience in mobile UX design, coding and support/maintenance, collaboration and communication skills.
  3. At least 60 months experience in Java, the Android framework, the iOS framework, Windows phone development, and hybrid app development.
  4. At least 60 months experience using Active Directory monitoring, attribute creation/deletion with both MMC and LDAP connections.
  5. At least 60 months experience designing, coding and testing web-based applications.
  6. At least 60 months utilizing strong Objective-C skills and inside-and-out knowledge of the iOS SDK.
  7. At least 60 months experience communicating and collaborating with technical and non-technical personnel to understand and define user needs.
  8. At least 60 months experience performing analyses and assessments to determine systems methodology best suited to serve a large enterprise organization.
